In San Bernardino , California , USA Gene Hackman was born on January 30, 1930. Later he joined the U.S. Marine Corps at a very juvenile age and later studied acting at the Pasadena Playhouse. He stepped towards his career in Hollywood slowly, but his breakthrough came in 1967 with the blockbuster movie Bonnie and Clyde, where he was assigned the role of Buck Barrow. This great role made him great and earned him his first Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
